The glacier: a shaping agent of the Alpine environment
Stelvio Park Special
How do pollinators' strategies change with altitude? A hike with an entomologist to discover how altitude influences insects' form and behavior. From valley meadows to high-altitude cliffs, we'll observe, with appropriate equipment, how body color, hairiness, and life cycles have evolved to exploit different environmental conditions, reflecting on how these fragile adaptations are changing in the face of the challenges of today's climate.
